Don't get caught in the hype machine

Lately I have been asked to review e-books about podcasting, or
how to get rich quick with podcasting. Don't make the mistake of falling for
these take your money type products, they really don't offer much from what I have seen.
They make money from you for being suckered in to buying the stuff.

Trust me you don't need "teleprompter software" for your podcast,
buy some index cards and you will be fine.
Just prep your podcast and print out your notes either on index cards or just plain ol' printer
paper. I have over 15 years of radio experience at number 1 radio stations, and trust me, being on the air 4 to 5 hours a day LIVE, no voice tracking, not a podcast recording. On the air  LIVE, we never used anything more than typed out index cards for on air information, Promo's, PSA's , Weather or Tags on the end of Spots.

These people don't produce podcast,  they may produce an infomercial about
their e-book about podcasting, but that is it. They are just trying to make a quick
dime from people that don't realize what it takes to produce a podcast. Save
you money for a better microphone, or a windscreen.
Don't fall in the trap !
